Thunder make charitable contribution to the Nick Collison Foundation
The Thunder just signed Nick Collison to a contract extension worth $11 million and a signing bonus of $6.5 million. They frontloaded the contract giving Collison a signing bonus equivalent to about the amount they are currently under the salary cap. By paying Collison more now via a signing bonus, they can keep their future salary cap figures in check and pay him much less in years...

Nick Collison has right knee surgery
Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Nick Collison underwent successful arthroscopic surgery yesterday on his right knee.
The seven-year veteran averaged 5.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 75 games this season for the Thunder.
Collison will begin rehabilitation immediately and is expected to resume his off-season training later this summer.
