Brezec leaves NBA, signs with Krasnye Krylya Samara
As the NBA gets into gear for the 2010-11 and Primoz Brezec remained unsigned, the 31-year-old has decided instead to sign with the Russian Superleague’s BC Krasnye Krylya Samara.
Brezec last played in Europe for Lottomatica Roma in the 2008-09 season, but returned to the ‘States to perform last year for the Milwaukee Bucks and was later traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

If They Drafted Somebody Else: Primoz Brezec
This marks another installment in “If They Drafted Somebody Else” series. A couple of days ago, I did Shawne Williams. Today is somebody else. Let’s begin.
In the 2000 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers selected Primoz Brezec as the 27th overall pick of the draft. Brezec was a star center from Slovenia and looked to be an important player for the Indiana Pacers. At the...

Primoz Brezec Deal Rocks the NBA
The Primoz Brezec era in Philadelphia is officially over. The 7′1″ Center who had carried the hopes and dreams of an entire city on his broad shoulders will carry his trademark power jams and deadly long range jumper to Milwaukee, who had spent the last several weeks searching desperately for a 0.7 PPG scorer. The [...]

Sixers Sign Brezec
The return of the immortal Primoz: “The 76ers have signed free agent center Primoz Brezec. ‘We feel that Primoz will provide us with additional size and depth in the front court, but just as beneficial is the wealth of experience he brings to the team not only on the NBA level, but internationally as well,’ Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski said.”

Sixers sign Brezec; won’t be re-signing Marshall
The Sixers are expected to sign 7′-1″ center Primoz Brezec within the next couple days.
The native of Slovenia agreed in principle to become Samuel Dalembert’s backup on Tuesday.
“I think Primoz will fit in well in [new coach] Eddie Jordan’s system because he’s a shooter, he can pick and pop, and he’s savvy,” said Brazec’s agent [...]

Sixers add back-up center Primoz Brezec
When commenting on the signing of Royal Ivey, I said the Sixers still needed to add a back-up center to round out their roster, and now they have done just that. Slovenian Primoz Brezec, a 7 year NBA veteran who played for the Pistons, Raptors and Bobcats last season, has signed a one year deal with the Sixers. According to Philly.com, the contract is worth approximately 1.1 million...

Sixers Sign Primoz Brezec, Gangster
What could possibly get you excited about the Sixers signing Slovenian center Primoz Brezec? How about this tidbit in March of 2008 courtesy of Hoops World from his then coach Sam Mitchell:
"Rasho (Nesterovic) told me that when Primoz's first came to the United
States he learned his English, I don't know the words, but let's just
say everything...

Playoff preview: Raps/Magic
I think you would agree that tonight's Raptors game against the Bulls is about as pointless as Primoz Brezec's high socks. Instead of digging into that game it is time to get a jump on the first round series between the Toronto Raptors and the Orlando Magic. I am heading to the Big Smoke on Friday so I need to get all of this analysis up before I jet.
