The Los Angeles Clippers shut down Ryan Gomes
The Los Angeles Clippers have decided to shut down 28-year old forward Ryan Gomes with a knee injury. Gomes played in 76 games (62 starts) for the Clippers this year and he averaged 27.6 minutes, 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The Clippers likely won’t miss Gomes too much as they don’t have many games left.

Question:

Ryan Gomes and His Contract: How does it work?
Some here have talked about trading Gomes as a potential expiring or as a potential contributor to a team who wants to win now. I'm not saying he'd help a team do that, but it's a plausible scenario that he could help, or at least, that some GM might THINK he could help contribute to winning (see examples: Foye, Randy; Miller, Mike).
Could those who know more about...
