Hollins gives Cavs media day entertaining twist
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- You know its Cavaliers media day when Ryan Hollins is toting around a FOX Sports Ohio microphone and conducting interviews on his own.
Hollins is the Cavs backup center and an aspiring sports broadcaster. He even spent part of the lockout providing analysis for telecasts of UCLA games.
On Monday, he played the role of reporter, seeking out the inside scoop...

Source: Ryan Hollins Picks up $2.5 Million Player Option
The Cleveland Cavaliers may have not addressed their current hole at the center position via the recently held NBA Draft, but Ryan Hollins has picked up his player option for the 2011-12 season, a source tells WFNY.

Villanueva gets ejected, loses mind
It's been far from sunny for the Detroit Pistons this year. It didn't look good from the start, but it's gotten worse. Players laughed as head coach John Kuester was ejected earlier this season. A half dozen players have had run-ins with Kuester. Tonight, Charlie Villanueva took out his frustration on Cavs forward Ryan Hollins.

Ryan Hollins is starting to play better for the Cleveland Cavaliers
26-year old center Ryan Hollins is starting to show signs of life lately for the Cavs. In his last five games, Hollins is averaging 28.4 minutes, 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 1.0 blocked shot. In those five games, Hollins is shooting 52.6% from the floor. Hollins has now played in 64 games (11 starts) for the Cavaliers this year and he is averaging 15.7 minutes...
