Sasha Vujacic an all-star game MVP? BiE knows it sounds crazy, but that’s what went down this weekend in Turkey during the TBL season break. In a game that pitted foreigners against Turks, the former NBA champion went for 24 points and dished five assists in a 140-139 barnburner settled by Besiktas’ Carlos Arroyo’s last-second three.

Nets G Vujacic signs with Turkish club
New Jersey Nets guard Sasha Vujacic has signed with a Turkish team for next season.
Anadolu Efes said Friday the 27-year old Slovenian guard agreed to a one-year deal with an optional second year. It did not say whether Vujacic has an option to return to New Jersey if the NBA lockout is lifted.

Nets G Vujacic to play in Turkey
Free agent guard Sasha Vujacic has signed a two-year contract to play in Turkey, euroleague.net reported Friday.
Vujacic, 27, signed a one-year deal with an option for a second season with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, the report said. The website did not provide financial terms, nor did it say whether Vujacic has an out clause that would allow him to return to the NBA.

Lakers are Officially Vujacic-Free
Now that the dust has settled the Lakers have made it official: Sasha Vujacic is gone!
For his troubles GM Mitch has acquired a veteran big man in Joe Smith plus two second round picks, one from Golden State in 2011 and the other from Chicago in 2012. Oh and the rights to Ukrainian big man Sergei Lishouk.
Sasha Vujacic, on the other hand, is banished to New Jersey. Is it just me...

Lakers ‘agree in principle’ to trade Sasha Vujacic
