Spurs PG Ford to miss 4-6 weeks with hamstring injury
San Antonio Spurs backup point guard T.J. Ford will be sidelined for four to six weeks with a torn left hamstring.
Ford was injured in Tuesday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
In his first season with the Spurs, he has averaged 4.2 points and 3.8 assists.
To take his spot on the roster, San Antonio recalled rookie guard Corey Joseph from the Austin Toros of the Development League.

The injury bug hits the San Antonio Spurs once again.
Backup point guard T.J. Ford suffered a hamstring injury during the loss in Milwaukee and will be out 4-6 weeks according to head coach Gregg Popovich (via Project Spurs' Paul Garcia). And now that the backcourt is thin, the Spurs have recalled rookie point guard Cory Joseph from the Austin Toros.

Ford to visit Holiday Basketball Clinic
After helping his team defeat the Houston Rockets by scoring six points, grabbing five rebounds, and collecting three assists in Wednesday's preseason closer, San Antonio Spurs' T.J. Ford will be dishing out even more assists on Thursday.

Writer disagrees with Ford signing
Though the San Antonio Spurs finally signed a backup point guard, one writer doesn't quite agree that newcomer T.J. Ford will make the changes necessary to the Spurs' system.
