The Detroit Pistons announced today that they have requested waivers on center Aaron Gray related to health concerns. Recently signed to a 2-year deal by Detroit, Gray was a popular backup center with the Raptors before being traded to the Kings last season.
Aaron Gray was waived by the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, the team announced.
Gray had reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Pistons during free agency.
The Pistons' roster stands at 15.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Detroit Pistons center Aaron Gray is out indefinitely after suffering a cardiac episode last month.
Gray had the problem, which he didn't discuss in detail, after a voluntary practice session at the Palace. He said Monday he is still undergoing testing to find out exactly what needs to be done. He says there is no timeline on his return.
