Sixers on the Rise
Not everyone appreciates Andre Igoudala's defense
At the end of the 2010 season, Eddie Jordan was fired as the 76er head coach for taking a team prominently featuring Andre Igoudala, Elton Brand, Thaddeus Young, Jrue Holliday, and Louis Williams to a record of 27-55. Jordan, a disciple of the “Princeton Offense”, had famously bragged to a beat reported, when asked...

The Onion takes on the Wizards
With the Wizards now at 2-15 on the season, the Wicked Pixels have continued to flow.
Bear in mind, in modern Wizards history, the team’s two worst finishes were the 19-63 season when Eddie Jordan was fired and Ed Tapscott manned a sinking ship, and the 19-63 Leonard Hamilton campaign. The former started the year 3-14, the latter 4-13. So this year’s version is en route to history...

Eddie Jordan now working with his high school’s freshman team
When an NBA coach gets fired, he has several obvious options: become an assistant, get a TV job, and hope someone thinks you got a bad deal and hires you immediately. For some people, though, it makes more sense to hang back for a while and look for a new job in another offseason.
Former Sixers coach Eddie Jordan is one of those guys. After being let go following the 2009-10 season...

Former Wizards coach Eddie Jordan is back coaching — high school freshmen
Former Wizards coach Eddie Jordan has returned to coaching – though not how you would expect. Less than two years after he was fired by the Philadelphia 76ers, Jordan is coaching the freshman basketball team at his alma mater, Archbishop Carroll.
Jordan was the most successful Wizards coach in recent memory, leading the franchise to 197 wins and four playoff appearances before...
