Forbes Is Grateful For His Opportunity
I usually arrive at the Air Canada Centre on game nights around 4:30 to go over my notes and do some last minute research for the game. For the most part, the court is empty. However, two Toronto Raptors players routinely are shooting around with the coaching staff: James Johnson and Gary Forbes.

Forbes returns to Denver for first time with Toronto Raptors
Forward Gary Forbes arrived in Denver in September 2010 as an undrafted free agent trying to make a name for himself in the NBA. He made the roster out of training camp and started 11 games for the Nuggets, earning a free-agent contract with the Toronto Raptors in the offseason.
