Hakim Warrick will work out for the San Antonio Spurs on Sept. 1.
Warrick is not guaranteed a contract with the Spurs, but he will have an opportunity against some current Spurs players and free agents.
Warrick said he accepted the Spurs' invitation because San Antonio has some players with non-guaranteed deals.
Warrick last played in the NBA during the 2012-13 season with the Bobcats.
