Jazz Sign Kevin Murphy

The Utah Jazz have signed Kevin Murphy to a free agent contract. Murphy was selected by Utah out of Tennessee Tech in the second round of the 2012 NBA draft (47th overall pick), and he played in 17 games for the Jazz while also playing in the NBA D-League. Following the 2012-13 season, Murphy was sent to Golden State as part of a three-team trade in July 2013.

Warriors Waive Dwayne Jones, Machado, Kevin Murphy

The Golden State Warriors have waived Dwayne Jones, Scott Machado and Kevin Murphy. Jones appeared in 21 games last season in the D-League and was signed on the final day of the 12-13 regular season. Machado appeared briefly in five playoff games last season with the Warriors. Murphy was acquired by the Warriors in a trade with the Utah Jazz to acquire Andre Iguodala.
