Jets need to slow down the Saints Earlier this week, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez faced plenty of questions regarding the possibility of a shootout unfolding at the Superdome on Sunday, when the 3-0 Jets face the 3-0 Saints. But a shootout should be the last thing the Jets want. The best approach for the Jets will be to grind the clock with their strong rushing attack, supplementing the ground game with short, West Coast-style passes that are more likely to result in completions, which in turn will keep the clock churning. The key to restraining the Saints' potent offense is to keep it off the field for as long as possible.
