GREEN BAY, Wis. -- He's an MVP, a Super Bowl champion, and now, Aaron Rodgers has his own day.
Seven months after Wisconsin resident Jennifer Brilowski started a Facebook fan page for the idea of 121212 being Aaron Rodgers Day in Wisconsin, it will become official.
Rodgers, who wears No. 12 for the Green Bay Packers, will be in the Wisconsin capital of Madison on Wednesday for when it's put through by state government.
The resolution for Aaron Rodgers Day was initially passed by the state Assembly in February, and then by the Senate in March.
On December 12, 2012, the Packers will be preparing for their Week 15 matchup against the division rival Chicago Bears.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- For the past eight months, Wisconsin resident Jennifer Brilowski has been working to make Dec. 12, 2012 more than just a random Wednesday late in the NFL season. She wanted it to become Aaron Rodgers Day, honoring the Green Bay Packers quarterback who wears No. 12 for her favorite team.As Brilowski stood at the Lambeau Field podium on Wednesday, the same place...
Aaron Rodgers keeps winning. He helped the Green Bay Packers win Super Bowl XLV to cap off the 2010 season. Rodgers followed that up by making a mockery of NFL defenses for the better part of 2011 on his way to being named the league’s MVP. Newly crowned Miss America Laura Kaeppeler gave [...]
Considering where he was only a few years ago, it's crazy how big-time Aaron Rodgers continues to become. The Packers quarterback, who golfs fairly regularly with Michael Jordan and has become a regular at some of the biggest non-football events like the Kentucky Derby, was recently named the most marketable player in the NFL by the Sports Business Journal.
So in addition to...
Just when you figure Asian kids growing up in States would catch on to our great sports heroes, Kevin comes along on Jeopardy’s Teen Week and destroys that myth. Watch as Kevin acts like a smartass and buzzes in on this “Super Bowl MVP” photo clue. (Hint: It’s Eli Manning).
If there’s one thing goofy white kids can still kick an Asian’s ass, it’s in stupid sports trivia...
Nine days before the end of the world happens, the Green Bay Packers and their fans will have one last great celebration in honor of star QB Aaron Rodgers. The state of Wisconsin, because it doesn’t have anything better to be focused on, passed a resolution that December 12, 2012 will be known as Aaron [...]
Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun won MVP awards in 2011 for Wisconsin's two favorite pro teams (sorry Bucks). Now they are going into the food business together because cheese-heads got to eat too.
They've won MVP's in the same year and are close friends. Now Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgers have something else in common.
The two most popular sports figures in Wisconsin are going to be business partners.
Milwaukee-based SURG Restaurant Group announced Monday that Braun and Rodgers will open up a new restaurant together in Brookfield, Wis.
Playing on both of their jersey...
A week or so ago, a clip of a Teen Jeopardy contestant incorrectly guessing LMFAO on Jay-Z question hit the Internet at full blast.
Well, that same contestant "Kevin" moved on in the tournament and gaffed on this question mistaking Eli Manning for Aaron Rodgers:
To be fair to Kevin, there was some technical difficulties that might have prevented him from...
