1)      Indianapolis Colts – Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford

  1. The Colts need their QB of the future, and their offense is set up for Luck’s Style

2)      *Trade* Washington Redskins – Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor

  1. The Redskins really went all in to get their QB of the future, they picked up some nice weapons for him in Free Agency and he should settle in quickly

3)      Minnesota Vikings – Matt Kalil, OT, USC

  1. With the top 2 QB’s off the board the Vikings choose the best available player in the draft.  Kalil will be a career Pro-Bowler and anchor their line for years.

4)      Cleveland Browns -  Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama

  1. The Browns have nobody at RB that can help take some pressure off of Colt McCoy(or whoever they draft to replace him) Richardson is the top back in this draft.

5)      Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

  1. The Bucs could grab Richardson if he falls but CB is their biggest need right now. Aqib Talib is most likely going to Prison and Ronde Barber is ancient.

6)      St. Louis Rams – Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

  1. The Rams have a need at WR. Floyd has really helped himself out with his performances at the combine and his pro day.  A true #1 receiver with a very high ceiling.

7)      Jacksonville Jaguars – Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina

  1. The Jags need pass rush help and Ingram has shot up draft boards this offseason capping it off by blowing away scouts at his Pro Day.

8)      Miami Dolphins – Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M

  1. The Dolphins lost Henne and missed out on Flynn and Manning. They need a QB in the worst way and Tannehill is the best QB left so they reach here.

9)      Carolina Panthers – Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College

  1. The Panthers defense was terrible last year and the Panthers reportedly “Love” Kuechly who has a great football IQ and is the best ILB in the draft.

10)   Buffalo Bills – Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa

  1. After signing Super Mario in FA and Mark Anderson, defense is nowhere close to a 1st round need.   Reiff is a nasty OT who could start at either LT or RT.

11)   Kansas City Chiefs – David DeCastro, OG, Stanford

  1. The Chiefs do not have many glaring holes going into this draft.  Taking DeCastro here will solidify their line for years and give Cassel more time to work with throwing the ball.

12)   Seattle Seahawks – Quinton Coples, DE, UNC

  1. The Seahawks need help on the edge rushing the passer and Coples has all the physical tools you could want.

13)   Arizona Cardinals – Justin Blackmon, WR, OSU

  1. The Cardinals need Kolb to be successful and pairing Blackmon with Larry Fitzgerald would go a long way.  OL is also a need but they can find that in round 2.

14)   Dallas Cowboys – Mark Barron, SS, Alabama

  1. The Cowboys could use some help in their secondary and on the offensive line.  Jerry Jones would prefer to go defense with his first pick and Barron is a huge upgrade at SS.

15)   Philadelphia Eagles – Fletcher Cox, DL, Memphis

  1. The Eagles could use another big body in the middle and take Cox here as he is the consensus top DT in the draft. The Eagles have already visited with him and love what they see.

16)   New York Jets – Nick Perry, DE, USC

  1. The Jets could use some help rushing the passer.  With the state their offense is in, they need an amazing defense to keep up with the rest of the AFC East.

17)   Cincinnati Bengals – Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama

  1. The Bengals have been known to be okay with some character issues and they need secondary help.

18)   San Diego Chargers – Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia

  1. The Chargers need line help. They have to replace a ProBowl LG and Jeromy Clary is terrible. Glenn is an athletic huge body who could start at LG or RT.

19)   Chicago Bears – Kendal Wright, WR, Baylor

  1. The Bears could use another WR as Brandon Marshall may very well be suspended by the league and Jonny Knox may not be healed enough to play yet this season. Wright is an instant start for Cutler.

20)   Tennessee Titans – Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin

  1. The Titans need to replace all 3 of their interior linemen, and it all starts with the C so they take the best one in the draft.

21)   Cincinnati Bengals – Lamar Miller, RB, Miami

  1. The Bengals could use a full on starting RB, as BenJarvus Green-Ellis is just a complimentary back.

22)   Cleveland Browns – Jonathan Martin,OT, Stanford

  1. This pick may very well be the best QB left on the board, but they will need a good line in front of whoever is throwing the ball.  Martin and Joe Thomas would be great bookends for years.

23)   Detroit Lions – Stephon Gillmore, CB, North Alabama

  1. Gilmore is one of the few great CB’s in this draft.  The Lions don’t have many big needs and can take Gilmore here to fill their biggest need.

24)   Pittsburgh Steelers – Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

  1. The Steelers could use some help on the DL and Mike Tomlin is the kind of coach that could bring out Poe’s motor and help him live up to his big upside.

25)   Denver Broncos – Janoris Jenkins, CB, South Carolina

  1. They may go WR here to give more weapons to Manning but CB is their biggest hole.  Champ isn’t getting any younger, and there is nobody opposite him.

26)   Houston Texans – Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech

  1. Word on the street is that the Texans will use one of their first 2 picks on the best WR available.  Hill has a very high ceiling and will get to learn from one of the league’s best in Andre Johnson.

27)   New England Patriots – Courtney Upshaw, OLB/DE, Alabama

  1. The Patriots are getting old on defense and need to bring in some productive youth.  Their strong DL will make Upshaw’s transition to the NFL easy, rushing off the edge.

28)   Green Bay Packers – Shae McClellin,DE/ OLB, Boise State

  1. The packers could use someone opposite Clay Mathews to rush the passer. McClellin has a non stop motor and is a very good pass rusher, not to mention the Packers are reportedly already head over heels for him.

29)   Baltimore Ravens – Dont’a Hightower, LB, Alabama

  1. Ray Lewis is getting old.  Hightower is a high motor player with great instincts, physical ability, and hits like a truck.  Hightower is also versatile and could play any LB position.

30)   San Francisco 49ers – Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State

  1. The right side of the 49ers line is pretty bad.  Adams could likely start from Day 1 and give Alex Smith more time to find one of his many weapons open downfield.

31)   New England Patriots – Devon Still, DT, Penn State

  1. The Patriots would love to package their two picks here and trade up but since I don’t want to put in any trades they add another weapon to their already strong D-Line.

32)   New York Giants – Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford

  1. After a HUGE ProDay performance Fleener is a lock for the first round. Jake Ballard is going to have to have microfracture surgery and Eli could use another weapon.
