2005 AFC Divisional playoff New England Patriots at Denver Broncos complete game (by dipsomaniac1976) A little Friday Patriots viewing if you’re feeling up for the original Tom Brady/Bill Belichick playoff loss. In many ways I think this game was one of the initial sparks for this blog. It was after this loss that I realized Brady/Belichick only had a finite number of shots at another Lombardi. Winning Super Bowls brings people on the bandwagon, but losing when you know you have all the pieces to win brings out the obsession. Hard to say the 2005 Patriots deserved to win a Super Bowl though. Along with 2009 and 2002, it made up the holy triumvirate of ****** Patriots seasons. Still think 2009 takes the cake, but 2005 was just a sloppy mess from the moment Chad Brown and Monty Beisel were our starting inside linebackers.

NFL Draft Talk 2013 – New England Patriots

The talk of NFL Free Agency this offseason was “Will Wes Welker return to New England?”, which quickly morphed into “How will the Patriots replace Wes Welker?” Wide Receiver depth has never really been a strong point of this team.  When they were dominating teams in the regular season and playoffs (beat you all to the joke), they were doing it with the likes of Deion Branch...

Tom Brady Works Out With Terrell Owens

Start up those T.O. to the Patriots rumors, that will be way off base. It isn’t unusual for T.O. to work out with NFL players, doesn’t mean he is going to get signed. The chances are high that he has played his final game in the NFL. Teams would just rather develop younger wide receivers than deal with a high profile older one like Terrell Owens. That goes for most position...
