The 2012 NFL season is still a few months away, but every fantasy sports player knows that the sooner you start doing your analysis for the upcoming season the better. In this article I want to analyze some football players that have early draft value based on looking at the ADP from multiple sources on the internet and that are also primed for big seasons.
RB Roy Helu – Washington Redskins
Roy Helu is going around 60th in early mock drafts this season. I think by the time drafts roll around this season Helu will be even lower due to the fact that the Redskins resigned Hightower. Last season Helu played in 15 games while starting 5 of those. Helu carried the ball 151 times and gained 640 rushing yards (4.2 YPC) plus he caught the ball 49 times for 379 reception yards.
Last season Helu averaged 8 points per week during fantasy football for his owners, which ranked him 30th in the NFL at RB. This year I think Helu will be given the chance...

Kevin Barnes played in the slot for the Redskins last year, but played very poorly. DeAngelo Hall will be lining up on the slot this year, in addition to playing outside as a starter. Cedric Griffin, a free agent acquisition, will also play in 3-cornerback sets with Hall and Josh Wilson. Buried on the depth chart at cornerback behind those 3 and possibly Morgan Trent, Barnes is seeing...
The Redskins’ decision to take Kirk Cousins in the 4th round, even though they had already traded up to get a quarterback, Robert Griffin, in the 1st round, was one met with public scrutiny. Many argued that Griffin’s confidence would be shaken by the Redskins adding another quarterback that early. However, those critics might be shut up by today’s story that Griffin knew the...
According to Dan Graziano of ESPN.com, Washington Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson is healthy and has been cleared to participate in OTA’s after undergoing offseason hip surgery.
After showing some flashes of talent last season, Hankerson could end up being one of Robert Griffin III’s top targets in 2012.
In a recent interview with SB Nation, Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III talked about the controversy of Kirk Cousins being drafted just a few rounds after him.
“With Kirk, it’s fine. They brought me in for a reason,” said Griffin. “We all know they brought me in to be the starter, and I plan to be the starter, and they brought him in for...
With OTAs, everyone can look good playing in shorts without real pressure. But coaches and journalists can now see these guys in person and on the practice field, and the early reports are enthusiastic when it comes to Robert Griffin III.
The power is so great the Washington Redskins don’t describe their prodigy’s throwing as a verb but rather a noun.
“The Arm,” they say...
Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker was asked during his wrestling radio show 4th & Pain whether he could beat Mark Henry in an arm wrestling contest.
“Me,” he says when asked who would reign supreme. “I mean, Mark Henry has claimed to be the World’s Strongest Man for like two decades now. Is he really the World’s Strongest Man still or is that just some...
The Washington Redskins are known for their massive offensive lineman, a mystique that goes back to the days of the Hogs of the 1980′s on up to some of the ones of recent years. The first big offensive lineman to play for the Redskins went on to become a Hall Of Famer and was known
