TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jeff Garcia has had some memorable moments in his NFL career, mostly for his times as a starter in San Francisco and his amazing comeback with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 as a back-up. He also started for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2008. Since then, Garcia has had a tough time trying to hold a job as a quarterback in the NFL. He was brought in to be a backup with the Oakland Raiders, maybe even start, but was then all of a sudden cut.
He was then brought on to back-up Matt Schaub in Houston, only to be gone there with T.J. Yates filling in. At 42 years old, it's hard to see if anyone will bring him aboard.
However, he still has the skillset and can still be a solid backup quarterback for any team out there. Garcia recently said that if the Eagles gave him a call, he'd go there in a heartbeat.
“I’m picking up the phone and saying ‘Andy, how much do you want me to pay you so I can come in and get things fired up around there. I’d pay to play, that’s just me. I can be that person who can continue to motivate and inspire and help teach and educate. And if given the opportunity to step on the field, I’m going to give everything I have to find success, no matter how it happens.”
It'd be a good idea if the Eagles can bring him on. What if Michael Vick gets injured again like last year? Mike Kafka surely isn't all that trustworthy filling in for Vick. Besides, Garcia can mentor Kafka as well.
Any team could use Garcia as a valuable backup, basically.
However, if things don't pan out, Garcia could consider coaching in the NFL if he really just wants to teach. He can still be attached to the game with that. He can also join the USFL and play there since they just started up. Besides, Garcia is also one of their advisers.

A seemingly innocuous visit from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick caused such a backlash for a Toyota dealership in Henderson, Nev., that it was forced to shut down the promotional page on its website.

Is Linebacker DeMeco Ryans All The Eagles Need?
The steal that brought DeMeco Ryans to Philadelphia felt too good to be true. Every Eagles fan—every NFL fan—will tell you the glaring hole in Philadelphia’s defense was the linebackers.
In fact, if five more third down runs were stopped in the entirety of last season, the Birds would have made the playoffs. But every team has a similar sob story.
But was bringing in...

Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Football Projections
QB Michael Vick (Philadelphia)
I’m projecting a down year across the board for Vick once again. He proved last year that his performance against Washington in 2010 was a fluke. I expect him to regress back to close to typical Atlanta passing stats, where he never went over 3000 yards passing, only once threw more than 16 touchdowns and averaged 13 interceptions per game from 2004...

Random Athlete Of The Day- JaJuan Dawson
Jajuan is the answer to one of my new favorite trivia questions: Who was the 3rd string wide receiver for the Houston Texans in their inaugural season? Dawson was born in Gibson, LA, a town with a population of just under 2,000. At H.L Bourgeois High School the 6-1 Dawson was a star in Football, Basketball, and track, which escorted him directly to Tulane University, which is a bit...
