CJ Sports NASCAR Talk:
In Year Four of the Jay Cutler experiment, the Chicago Bears are still searching for that elusive Super Bowl championship.
Cutler’s production since being under center (9,259 yards, 63 TDs, 49 INTs with the Bears) hasn’t been too successful. The quarterback missed the remaining six games of last season due to a broken thumb and his overall record as a starter is 24-17.
The Vanderbilt alum has played with his hands tied due to a horrid offensive line that has given 110 sacks since No.6′s arrival. Cutler has also had to deal with sub par receivers and a difficult offensive coordinator in Mike Martz.
Those were the many reasons why Cutler failed to reach his franchise quarterback potential with the Bears, thus far. Bears general manager Phil Emery eradicated those reasons through the draft and free agency to give Cutler some firepower and size that were severely lacking the past three seasons.

Sure, for your favorite team, the kicker can be the most celebrated or the most hated person at the end of a game based on whether or not he hits the field goal. However, in fantasy football, there is no reason to be taking a kicker before the FINAL round.

How will Craig Steltz factor in to a depleted safety rotation?
The mix at safety is always interesting for the Bears. The team hasn’t had any player return as a starter for more than two consecutive years at safety since Mike Brown was in town… the first time around.
In my last post, I mentioned how the safety rotation took a hit with the injuries to Chris Conte and Brandon Hardin...

The Chicago Bears released veteran running back Kahlil Bell Thursday evening, after Bell refused to take a pay cut. The Bears reportedly wanted Bell to reduce his salary from $1.2 million to between $500-$700,000. Entrenched in a battle for the third-string RB job with Armando Allen, Bell had an uneven training camp performance, and his penchant for fumbles surely impacted [...]
