AP Photo/Morry GashThe Green Bay Packers simply gave quarterback Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears a beating Thursday night in their Week 2 victory, winning 23-10 to improve their record to 1-1.Earlier in the week, Cutler went on The Jim Rome Show and did some trash talking, saying that the Packers secondary will need some "good luck" if they want to stop his receivers.
Packers veteran cornerback Charles Woodson simply got a kick out of the statement and proved Cutler wrong, having one of Cutler's four interceptions in the game. Woodson tells Jim Rome how him and the rest of Green Bay's secondary laughed at the ridiculous statement.
“We got a laugh out of it, really,” Woodson said. “It was funny. They do have some big receivers over there but they’re not fast receivers. There’s no Calvin Johnson on that team, that’s going to stretch a defense. Yeah, there are some big guys, physical guys, and they like to push and pull and grab and get behind guys, but we weren’t going to let that happen, so it worked in our favor.”
Woodson said that he and the rest of the defense laughed more than getting motivation from the statement.
“We took those comments and we got a kick out of it,” Woodson said. “If you get pressure on Jay, he’ll let the ball loose. That happened for us numerous times last night.”
Looks like Cutler needs to keep his mouth shut for now on.

Vote: Is Jay Cutler the Most Overrated Starting Quarterback in NFL?
There's a surprisingly large number of rookie quarterbacks at the helm early on this football season, and the biggest reason could be the lack of good veteran signal callers.
