The San Francisco 49ers listed defensive end Justin Smith to probable on the team's injury report on Friday. Smith missed the 49ers' last two games because of a partially torn left triceps tendon. The Sacramento Bee reported that Smith will wear a hollow carbon fiber brace, which is similar to one that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis wore in last week's playoff game. He sustained the injury during their Week 15 road victory over the New England Patriots. Coach Jim Harbaugh has said that he expects Smith to play.

The San Francisco 49ers decided on a little healhty competition at the kicker position in an effort to light a fire under David Akers, who apparently righted the ship, beating out Billy Cundiff to kick in Saturday night's playoff matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

This could very well be one of the finer divisional weekends in NFL history depending on how the NFC matchups end up, and this game tops them all.
San Francisco and Green Bay are two of the more prestigious franchises in the NFL, and they have had several thrilling finishes in the postseason.
One that comes to mind would be the game where Jerry Rice fumbled and...
