San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was charged by the Santa Clara County District Attorney Wednesday with three felony counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon, reports NBC Bay Area. The charges stem from a party hosted by Smith in June 2012, where he was stabbed and two others were shot, and deputies later found a cache of assault rifles, magazines and ammunition.
