They are widely considered the best team in football, but they'll have to prove it against the Green Bay Packers this weekend. The 2010 world champion Packers are rounding into shape, and although there is high regard for the 49ers, Green Bay has all the pieces to beat them. Patrick Willis, who split time with Navarro Bowman in the first game with the Packers in September in an attempt to get more speed on the field, will see more reps this time around. The All-Pro defensive leader of the most feared defensive unit in the league knows it is win or go home time. In 2011, they came so close, getting edged out by eventual champions, the New York Giants. A thorn in many teams’ sides, the Giants will be watching from home this year. It’s anybody’s game now, and Willis wants in on the action. He spoke to 95.7 the Game in San Francisco with the Wheelhouse about getting started this weekend. “I was watching playoff games this week and just seeing the enthusiasm and just remember the feeling we felt last year to be playing those games and to realize that we have two games that we have to win to get to the Super Bowl and three to win it, that’s amazing. Those opportunities don’t come around often and to have a bye and be fresh, it’s right here in front of us and we have to take advantage of the opportunity. That’s all that matters. I know for me my whole mindset has been, as soon as I woke up this morning, nothing else matters in this whole world but winning this game Saturday and nothing else matters but winning the Super Bowl. These next three or four weeks that is the only thing that matters to me. I know my family and the ones that love me understand if I don’t talk as much or I can’t hang out as much, they understand. For those that don’t then I apologize ahead of time.” var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
