49ers RB Jewel Hampton Returns To Practice, LB Darius Fleming Remains On PUP

Rookie running back Jewel Hampton, who underwent offseason foot surgery, will return to 49ers practice on Tuesday, the team said. Meanwhile, rookie outside linebacker Darius Fleming, a fifth-round draft pick, will remain on the physically-unable-to-perform list for the remainder of the season. Fleming sustained a torn ACL in his left knee in one of the opening drills of the 49ers' rookie minicamp in May. Hampton has been on the reserve/non-football injury list after undergoing offseason surgery to remove bone spurs in his left foot. If the 49ers do not activate him after a three-week window, beginning Tuesday, he would finish the season on the NFI list. Source: Comcast Sports Attached Thumbnails
