I wonder if this is the same 30,000 people that thought God helped Tebow to the playoffs? If not he has a new 30,00 STUPID people in his followings.
As the 2012 Combine came to a close on Tuesday, several players boosted their prospects. Green Bay Packers GM Ted Thompson operates in stealth mode and it’s anyone’s guess as to who he’ll have his eye on come April. One thing that is certain is that the Packers fell more than a little short on the defensive end last season, and Thompson’s attention will be turned to correcting that. Topping the list on Tuesday was 5-10, 193 lb UCF Cornerback Josh Robinson. He is one of the NCAA’s best corners and now boasts the fastest 40 time at the Combine with 4.33 sec. He also tied for best broad jump with an 11‘1“ leap. Robinson was projected by some to be a fourth or fifth round pick, but might go sooner after having demonstrated his speed and athleticism in Indianapolis. DE Melvin Ingram from South Carolina is probably the most versatile DL player in the draft. This 6-1, 264 lb athlete can become a dynamic playmaker for the Packer’s defense. Ingram highlighted his strength and speed at the Co...

2011 Packers Yearbook: Most Promising Young Player
(Be sure to place your vote in the poll below.)
Adam: Randall Cobb. As long as Aaron Rodgers is the QB, you could probably classify any Packers WR as “promising.” Cobb gets the nod because in addition to showing flashes of greatness at WR, he’s already an outstanding kick returner.
Al: Alex Green. I know I’m going out on...
Packers Elect Not to Franchise Tag Free Agent QB Matt Flynn
The Packers decided against franchise-tagging Matt Flynn Monday.
Packers quarterback Matt Flynn will be free to sign with whichever team he so chooses this spring after the NFL’s franchise tag deadline passed at 4:00 p.m. EST Monday without GM Ted Thompson slapping the $14.4 million tender on the 27-year-old backup.
Instead of taking the risk of tagging Flynn and then trading him...
Chillar Coming Back To Pack?
According to Jarrett Bush, the Packers might be on the verge of re-signing veteran linebacker
According to Jarrett Bush, inside linebacker Brandon Chillar will be returning to the Packers. The seven-year veteran was cut by the team last summer after suffering a hamstring injury while training on his own during the lockout. He sat out the 2011 season.
I have no idea whether this...
Packers do not use franchise tag on Flynn
GREEN BAY, Wis. Now available to the highest bidder: The Green Bay Packers' all-time leading passer, quarterback Matt Flynn.
As the deadline passed at 3 p.m. CST, the Packers opted not to use their franchise tag and Flynn is officially an unrestricted free agent.
With NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers in his prime and coming off his best season, there was no room for Flynn to play in...
A.J. Hawk cuts off hair for children who have undergone cancer treatment (Picture)
Unless A.J. Hawk’s hair grows at an amazingly rapid pace, the Packers linebacker is going to look a lot different this upcoming season. Over the past few years, linebackers with long flowing locks running around looking for someone to hit has become a symbol of Green Bay. Clay Matthews may be able to uphold that reputation in 2012, but Hawk recently chopped his hair off and donated...
Aaron Rodgers Wins 2011 NFL Regular Season Positive Impact Factor
Aaron Rodgers had the highest Positive Impact Factor (what's this?) rating in the NFL for the 2011 regular season. In fact, Rodgers' 65.6 PIF was the highest regular season NFL PIF I've calculated going back to the 2000 NFL season.
Here's the Top 10 of the NFL PIF Standings for the regular season (PIF with sacks counted as rushes like the NCAA in brackets):
1. Aaron...
All Quiet On The Flynn Front
rIt won't be easy to work a trade for free agent quarterback
As of now, all signs point to the Packers not using the franchise tag on backup quarterback Matt Flynn. And if that proves to be the case, it’ll have nothing to do with Ted Thompson being a stickler for the rules. Green Bay’s conservative but shrewd general manager proved four years ago with Corey Williams that...
Dual-Threat QB Piques Packers Interest
Green Bay figures to add a quarterback to the mix with the expected departure of free agent Matt Flynn. As we've exclusively reported, the Packers held formal interviews with at least a couple of quarterbacks, and this player is on their radar, too, we've learned.
Matt Flynn latest string in QB offseason web
Matt Flynn is in the game.
The Green Bay Packers backup can be added to the list of players who could be considered possibilities for a team that needs a quarterback, like Washington, Cleveland, Miami and Seattle.
In Cleveland, Flynn's name goes on a list to consider that includes Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill and, yes, Colt McCoy.
The Packers chose not to apply the franchise...
Franchise Deadline Greeted With Silence
As of the 3 p.m. (Central) deadline, there is no news to report regarding center Scott Wells. What we do know is the Packers decided not to use the franchise tag on quarterback Matt Flynn.

Surviving Sunday: Packers News, Notes and Links for the Football Deprived
Empty Sundays
I know I’m supposed to be outraged about the Saints paying bounties for big hits that injure opposing players, but I’m not. I’m not saying what Gregg Williams and the Saints did was right, or that it should go unpunished, but I can’t work myself up to be outraged about the issue like so many others.
Is this bounty system really that big of a revelation? Are...
Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun in Full Unis
Call us Brodgers T..
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to camp at the end of last week, but it was Brewers camp, not the Pack. Rodgers shot some TV spots for the Brewers while at the complex in full Brew Crew uniform. His best buddy Braun showed him the ropes, and Rodgers didn’t even have to submit a urine sample to be in the commercial. This Bromance deserves a nickname...
