As the 2012 Combine came to a close on Tuesday, several players boosted their prospects. Green Bay Packers GM Ted Thompson operates in stealth mode and it’s anyone’s guess as to who he’ll have his eye on come April. One thing that is certain is that the Packers fell more than a little short on the defensive end last season, and Thompson’s attention will be turned to correcting that. Topping the list on Tuesday was 5-10, 193 lb UCF Cornerback Josh Robinson. He is one of the NCAA’s best corners and now boasts the fastest 40 time at the Combine with 4.33 sec. He also tied for best broad jump with an 11‘1“ leap. Robinson was projected by some to be a fourth or fifth round pick, but might go sooner after having demonstrated his speed and athleticism in Indianapolis.
