Jermichael Finley believes his chances of returning to the Packers next season are ”50/50.” “It’s the nature of the business,” Finley said, via the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “If there’s a guy that’s overpaid or that they think is overpaid, they’ll ask for a pay cut. There’s no doubt that I want to be there for life. But it’s a business and the business will tell you otherwise. I would say on the business front, it’s 50/50. But if it was up to me or anybody in my circle, I would love to be back.” Finley added that he hasn’t heard anything from the Packers thus far. “At the moment, there’s no communication,” Finley said. “Everything is shut down. That’s a sign that everything is good at the moment. But if not, I’ll be disappointed.“ Finley, 25, signed a two-year deal worth $14 million last year. He has a $4.45 million base salary, along with a $3.5 million roster bonus that will be due in March, so the Packers will have to decide whether or not he’s worth bringing back at that price. This season, Finley tallied 667 yard receiving on 61 receptions, but only scored 2 touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated in the bottom half of qualifying tight ends, which helps to further illustrate what many believe was another disappointing season for Finley. The Packers could use some additional cap space, as they’ll have to address some of their core talent in the near future, but without an obvious replacement on their roster, there stands a decent chance that he’ll be back next season.   The post “50-50″ Shot Of TE Jermichael Finley Returning To Green Bay Next Season? appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
