During the 2012 season the Kansas City Chiefs earned the top draft pick in April with their 2-14 record, but were not the worst team in the league. Other than passing the ball on offense and stopping the run on defense, the Chiefs were an above average team.Their rushing offense was ranked 5th in the league behind the running of Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis, but passing the ball was a different story. The Chiefs had the 32nd ranked passing offense with Matt Cassel and Brady Quinn as their quarterbacks.Cassel began his career as the backup to Tom Brady in New England. He happened to have a decent season after Brady was injured during the Patriots' 2008 season opener where he would go on to complete 63.4 percent of his passes for 3,693 yards and 21 touchdowns.
