The Penalty Flag:
Just past the midway point of the NFL season, many people are counting out Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Robert Griffin III, and the NFC East as a legitimate division. Arguably, it appears as if no one wants to win the division.
Here’s five reasons to watch the NFC East and why that division could be the one that is represented by the NFC in the super bowl in February.
1. Parity. Ten games into the season, the only divisional team that has lost any serious chance of making the playoffs is the Philadelphia Eagles. With Andy Reid seemingly losing control of the team by the day, its safe to say that the Eagles, at 3-7, won’t be making any playoff runs this year.… Read more

Eli Manning and the Giants went into their bye week struggling. They need to get things together on both sides of the ball if they want to make a serious run at the Super Bowl. After going a red hot 13-1 in week 11, I went 2-1 on Thanksgiving day. For the season that makes it 106-57. I'm still in striking distance of .750 for the season. Let's take a look at week 12...
Giants Victor Cruz wants you to know that he has great hands. Cruz wants you to vote him to this year’s Pro Bowl. So to show you just how impressive his catch game is, the receiver put together this viral video of him catching a football dropped from a plane. No salsa dancing after the [...]
When New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin addressed the media on Wednesday, he touched on the Green Bay Packers‘ defense and noted that they are often successfully aggressive; that despite giving up a lot of yards through the air, they frequently force turnovers. It’s something that quarterback Eli Manning has also noticed during film [...]

After not throwing a touchdown in three straight games, the New York Giants Eli Manning threw three of them in a 38-10 rout of the Green Bay Packers.
The nasty injury-bug finally caught up to the Packers (7-4) who looked lost on the offensive line and couldn’t stop any facet of the Giants’ (7-4) offensive attack.
What It Means: Though many of the team’s concerns were blown...
Showing the benefits of a bye week, Eli Manning threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to rookie Rueben Randle and set up another score with a 59-yard screen pass to help the New York Giants take a 17-7 first-quarter lead over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.
Andre Brown scored on a 2-yard run after the long pass to Ahmad Bradshaw and Lawrence Tynes kicked a 43-yard field goal after...
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants, fresh off their bye week, avoided their first winless November since 2004 by dominating the Green Bay Packers 38-10 Sunday night in front of 80,365 at MetLife Stadium. Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who went a career-long 107 pass attempts without a touchdown pass, threw for three scores and set a franchise record with 200 career touchdown...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The last time the Packers and New York Giants met, all the positive moments from Green Bay's nearly perfect 15-1 regular season became relatively meaningless.
The 37-20 playoff beatdown Eli Manning helped deliver on a cold mid-January afternoon at Lambeau Field continued another improbable postseason run for New York that concluded with Peyton's little...
The Green Bay Packers had better hope they don't see the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants again anytime soon.
The Packers' five-game winning streak came to an embarrassing end as Eli Manning threw three touchdowns and Giants routed Green Bay 38-10 in a nationally televised game Sunday night.
Coming on the heels of last season's loss in the NFL semifinal...
New York Giants QB Eli Manning certainly appeared well rested.
His arm did need a nice rest; he didn't think so at first, but if last night's rout of the Green Bay Packers is any indication, it was just what he needed.
Manning was 16-of-30 passing for 249 yards and three touchdowns. "I never thought my arm was tired, never felt like it," Manning said, via ESPN...
Green Bay Packers (7-3) at New York Giants (6-4)
What’s wrong with the Giants? That’s what everyone is asking. Well, they do this every year. Since Tom Coughlin took over, the Giants are 53-19 in the first 8 games of a season and 27-39 in the last 8 games of the season, including these last 2 losses. Eli Manning has been the main problem of late and not just in the 2 losses....
The New York Giants will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night football at MetLife Stadium from East Rutherford, NJ.
Game starts at 8:20 pm on NBC (TV) and WFAN (Radio).
Giants favorites over Packers.
Spread is - 2.5 points.
My pick is the Packers.
