After booing Santa Claus in 1968, I think the Philly fans might have cheered for him this year begging them for a better team. The team many picked to be a lock for winning the division has been the worst in their division. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. The city of Philadelphia are running out of fingers from pointing their fingers to blame any and everybody. The preseason was a sign of things to come as injuries, horrible defense and the rookie Nick Foles playing most of the preseason seemed to be a prophecy. The firing of the Juan Castillo was suppose to be the key to getting the defense playing better, but they played worse after he left. Mike Vick has been a disappointment being a turnover machine and missing games. He has turned the ball over 14 times this year and 32 times the last two years. Its evident that Vick will be released at the end of the season. Now 4-11, the Eagles have a plethora of decisions to chose from to make their team irrelevant again.Here...

Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick blames his decline in production the past two season on offensive line coach Howard Mudd. Mudd replaced Juan Castillo, who was shifted to defense after the 2011 season, and Vick said his difficulties and the offense's struggles start with the resulting scheme and personnel changes. "Because Howard and Juan are two totally different...

It’s something that has boggled my mind since the moment the Philadelphia Eagles made the announcement earlier this week. The excitement surrounding the decision to start quarterback Michael Vick for the season finale against division rival New York Giants.
In what is really a non-move, head coach Andy Reid had a decision to make after starter Nick Foles broke his throwing hand...

The Eagles final game of 2012, self imposed blackout
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick
Mercifully the Eagles 2012 season will end this weekend. In a game that many (including myself) expected to have division title implications, is now a going through the motions game. Well at least for us fans as the players certainly have reason to play, especially Michael Vick. Vick who is getting a last shot at starting with the Eagles (via injury...

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed quarterback Nick Foles on injured reserve and signed defensive tackle Antonio Dixon to a two-year contract.
Foles broke his hand in last Sunday's loss to Washington. Michael Vick will start the final game of the season against the New York Giants on Sunday.
Dixon played in two games for Indianapolis Colts this season. He spent three seasons...
Eagles QB Nick Foles Doesn't Use Injury As Excuse, Says I Didnt Do My Job'
THE ANSWER was the same from Nick Foles on Wednesday as it had been on Sunday. That was when Foles clasped his throwing hand behind his back and told reporters it was sore, but the hand had nothing to do with him bouncing a throw to a wide-open Jeremy Maclin during the final sequence of the Eagles' 27-20 loss to the visiting Washington Redskins.
"I don't think it...
Report: Michael Vick Will Not Renegotiate Contract
Per a report from Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, citing the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not be will be willing to renegotiate his contract in order to remain with the team. It may be Vick’s intention to force a release since he is due $15.5 million, a number that is highly doubtful the Eagles would pay him. Although it is unlikely any other...

Andy wants Vick to start final game vs. Giants...and Jimmy Kempski breaks down a breakdown...
I don't get it, but I guess Andy Reid has a logical reason to want Mike Vick as his QB#1 in a "meaningless" final game of the 2012 season on the road against the Giants.
New York (8-7) is still alive in the playoff mathematics, but only by the slimmest of algebraic margins.
Meanwhile, this is the ultimate U-Haul game for the Birds.
