what a waste....he one of the biggest first round busts ever. why the hell the jags want him is beyond me....what team would want this guy? put me out there and id do better than him. i think the jags could have gotten away with giving the vikes a bag of chips for this guy.

the funniest shit I've seen all day... When i first heard this news my immediate reaction was "Why???"

On paper, the deal isn't bad at all. Williamson's entering his 4th year and they're only giving up a 6th rounder for a guy who once went 7th overall. I just don't get why the Jaguars think they can get something out of him when they've failed to get anything out of the 3 or 4 underachievers they have now.

The Jags are only Mike Williams away from completing the set of overdrafted receivers in the 05 draft. I don't think this is a good move for the Jags as they are usually good at drafting late. My bet is Williamson won't even make the team. He can't catch all he can do is run. So basically he's just a real life version of Clifford Franklin from The Replacements.

GREAT effing title!!!! I thought it was just me!

Childress went to the Andy Reid school of WR evaluation.

Now he can use the new draft pick on another one who doesn't get it. Is Billy McMullen still a Free Agent?

Amazing...voltron reference. who were stronger the Dinobots or Constructicons?

I'm not sure. I was always a M.A.S.K. guy myself.

Andy apparently has as hard of a time evaluating WRs as you do remembering coaches... Good ol' Mike "We Pass On Our Pick" Tice took Williamson, not Childress. Childress is the guy who took Tavaris Jackson, Chad Greenway, Sidney Rice and some guy named Purple Jesus...I think he's done ok in the draft...

...and now Tice is the assistant head coach of the Jaguars (which helps explain why so many Minnesota cast-offs find their way to Jax). Tice can now claim the dubious distinction of wasting two draft picks on the same stiff. Oh well. at least he's not dumb enough to scalp Super Bowl tickets or sponsor a team orgy.
