Over the past twenty years, the NFL has seen more than a few number one overall picks go "bust." But there have also been some great players who lived up to the hype of being drafted first. Check out the full list with comments on each player.

You have one guy a bust who has 8 more sacks than a guy you have as a boom... Just because he has more superbowls??? Noway...

i still think eli is a little too early to tell, he looked great in the playoffs, but that was really the first time he looked like a franchise quarterback, but as of now it was way worth it because hes wearing a superbowl ring and at the same time, alex smith can start being called a bust whenever you want

the whole point of your career is to win the superbowl how can you call eli "to early to tell." he has already established himself immortality with that superbowl upset. what more could you ask?

i think it is safe to now call alex smith a bust who was not able to do anything even with some offensive talent.
i wouldn't call michael vick a bust just because of that scandal. if you look at his career he turned a falcons team that was very weak into a relatively competitive team.

eli manning too early to tell ? he just beat the 460-0 patriots in the SUPERBOWL "too early to tell which finger he'll be wearing his superbowl ring on....."
micheal vick a bust ? bust-ED maybe....but as far as playing football goes BOOM !! vick runs for another TD.....vick runs for another thousand yards...vick runs all over you...who maked these stupid lists anyways ?

Flawed list. Vick and Maryland both are wrong, and Smith and Manning could be.

Great article... I'm a Dolphins fan so i'm hoping they don't blow it... Too bad there's no one with the last name Manning at the top of the draft board.
