Charlotte Observer says Panthers shouldn't worry about voids at Safety and TE
According to the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers shouldn't be worried about the giant gap in Safety and Tight End, I however, disagree. Tight end is important even if it's a position you don't use. Tight end is the most valuable "secondary" option on the offense, covered by a Linebacker or Safety. It really was no wonder the Panthers had the worst 3rd down % in the league.
At safety, I find it a major concern, if somebody can throw over you deep at a very consistant rate, you probably won't win much.
