Interesting opinion piece about how Drew Henson has become one of the biggest financial failures for teams ever. I don't believe that to be the case, I mean, I can't think of many other players off the top of my head that could have been more expensive, but Henson can't be the worst of all time... maybe of the past few years or so.
I have to agree that the reason Henson was so expensive to so many teams was the high prices Yankees' owner George Steinbrenner and Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones were willing to pay for him. Supply and demand, guys. Funny enough, I don't think his career is completely over. He might get another shot, espcially when a team can maybe acquire him cheaply because of his past failures. He could even go back to baseball and give it another go.
