Eagles trade out of 1st!

James Hardy and Chris Johnson anyone?

Good trade. If we dont trade back into the first round we should get Desean Jackson, Limas Sweed, Devin Thomas(not likely still there) with the 43rd, and one of the top 3 safeties with the 49th. But i think we will trade back into the first we now have 12 picks, we should trade in and get Devin Thomas.

Sure,,with the extra #1,we can deal 2009 2nd's 3rd's to move back.

What's wrong with y'all...this was a GREAT move.
We got excellent value for the 19th overall pick INCLUDING the first round pick of a rebuilding team (I.E. probably Pick 7-11 in next years draft)
2. No receiver has been taken yet!! I have said that I want Sweed and he isn't even listed as the 4th best receiver on Kiper's board even though I think he is the best one out!

This trade wasn't sexy in that it didn't net a big pick this year, but I think it is a GREAT move and we can still get what we want. IMHO, this draft has gone our way so far. For those of us that want a receiver in the draft, the fact that Albert, Williams, Clady, Cromratie, Otah is a good thing...

I agree. This opens up some big options. They could get a very good pick next year, or if there is a team that is willing to wheel and deal for a very good player next year, it will help. I envied the Cowboys this year with their picks. They have options. Plus, I think the FO is positioning for a rebuilding. They are just doing it the right way by mixing the young players in with the older players.

how about packaging some picks(3rd,4th) for a high 2nd round. bill parcells loves getting extra picks!

either they are loading up to get someone like Ocho Cinco or they dont know what position they need so they are trying to get a well rounded draft were there top picks have the same value. I hope that they get Sweed in the end i dont care how just do it.

Good chance we could get a projected 1st round WR at 43. Everyone's too scared to pick a WR in the 1st. They could be trying to move up in the 2nd, but what's the point? I don't know why I'm suprised we traded out of the 1st. At least it wasn't with the Cowboys. 49ers didn't pick a WR...WOW

Yea this trade is great. NOT ONE WR HAS BEEN TAKIN YET.... Im sure some will slide to when we pick next. We got a steal. trading out of the first round sucks but we got soo much for it

I agree, but that's way too much to offer. Potentially trading 3 great players for Williams (getting old), and Boldin, who's closer to worth it. I'd offer 1 2nd and a 1st next year, but nothing more.

Eagles might keep Lito according to Adam Kaplan if a deal is not struck in the 2nd round
