I don't want Julius Peppers. The guy clearly has tons of talent, but he's got some miles on his legs, and the lifespan of a DL in the NFL is too short to spend big money on a free agent. See Jevon Kearse.

Kearse was injury prone his entire career. It wasn't "the miles on his legs"... it was his legs.

I think you're splitting hairs. Kearse has bad legs, and Peppers has some miles on his legs. My point remains the same though. I don't think it wise to spend big free agency dollars on a DL who is almost 30. I'd rather see us spend the money on some D-Back help, some WR help, and someone else who can run the ball.

Hold on, look at the fact that Peppers didn't do much this year. The onlly thing he did was block a field goal. Plus can he play on the other side? But overall, i think its a good pick up. Peppers is a beast and he still has years in front of him.

Just because theres a CHANCE the Panthers COULD move Peppers does not mean the Eagles are getting him. People need to learn the difference between speculation and information. Just because something is HYPOTHETICALLY possible does not mean its gonna happen.

peppers is awesome but hes old, its the same situation as tko, great player, great leader in the locker room, but not gonna be in it for the long haul, also hes probably gonna want more than hes worth and what we wanna spend

most likely accurate...he may have 2 solid seasons left in him but thats about it...maybe not even that....whatever works though...i dont believe they will get him but some may believe this and maybe its true....who knows...im leanin toward picking up antwan odom i like how he broke out last year and if we sign him i expect another big year playing alongside of trent cole just like he played with kyle vanden bosch...pro bowl DE and odom would have an easier route to the QB b/c of trent cole drawing attention not to mention the emergence of bunkley and patterson (if he doesnt get suspended for a long time)

hahahahahah thats awesome...in 2004 i went to my first training camp and have gone every year ever since...in 2004 i went with a few friends of mine i was a freshman in HS this year and we were all shittin ourselves haha....we were yellin at everyone but my one friend yelled HEY SHAWN (Andrews) and he looked over and winked...it was a great experience i love camp i cant wait till this years especially if we bring in good players! and yeah Odom's stats impressed me too id love him and trent off the edge thatd be amazing

haha im in High School..Senior year....i dont have season tickets me and my dad got them off ebay just last year...yeah that seahawks game was brutal...the bears game was the worst ever i wore my NFC championship hat to that game and ripped the bill off afterwards....i was sooooo mad and it was liek an angry destroying of the hat it was more of a quiet, desperate, disappoined tearing of the bill straight off slowly very very bad feeling after that one and yes marshawn lynch is a good player i liked him at cal and if it werent for adrian peterson he woulda been recognized way more this year

i honestly think they are thinking javon walker for cheap...inscentive based contract and maybe dj hackett or jerry porter or neither just getting javon walker....they probably have a backup plan if J-Walk doesnt work out....but its not only Peter King it said that numerous sources say the eagles will sign asante samuel and peter king is the one who got the price tag...the saints are the only other team in the running and maybe asante figured that its 3 days from FA and only two teams are offering me deals...i better sign one before they withdraw the offer like the jets did and maybe he took the eagles offer...or maybe asantes agent reported that he is leaning toward the eagles deal that they offered and the media took it as he definetly will sign...i think if we sign him we can still sign javon walker or even maybe trade for someone and address that situation in somewhere other than the draft

and it makes the situation more realistic that the first article said the eagles and jets are targetting him and now that the jets dropped out the eagles are still trying to get him and you dont just try to get someone and then decide that itll be too much money...if hes within reach then i think they will get him if they really wanted to try to go after him...the only thing that makes sense if they dont sign him is that another team beat him out not that just out of the blue they decided oh well we "targetted" him but we just stopped trying even though it was completely possible...and u know how much reid values corners...this deal is making more and more sense to me every time i think about it

oh i agree with that completely these rumors are getting out of hand...but this was one of the first rumors and now has developed into something and it seems like the most realistic one....ur probably right its probably not gonna happen but it is very possible...and javon to dallas is just as much a rumor as asante to philly so i dont know....maybe the eagles are the ones pursuing javon...who knows itll be such an interesting day friday...im stayin up until like 1 to see if anyone makes any huge moves

hey and going back to our obsession with the birds, i forgot to mention that i have a 2 year old boxer named trotter and hes the man, he even looks like JT!!

and yes i agree with keeping lito and sheldon i think that is the plan...originally i heard we will move sheldon to safety but i dont know if thats the plan...someone brought up the point to move lito to nickel so he will be fresh whenever he is on the field and he wont get injured as much but if he does then we have 2 good corners and i also just got an idea that maybe they will rotate the corners to cover whoever they think can cover the best.....if its a physical receiver like TO you put lito on him so that if he tries to bump lito and run by him hes too fast so he can catch up and stay with him or try sheldon so he can give him contact right back...if it is a more route running type then you put asante on him because he seems like he is the most fundamental corner not the fastest or most physical but just can flat out play...those are my ideas with the situation

Please i know everyone is Excited about this Yrs. Free Agency and who will go where well this article aint really about what i think should happen or hoping will happen....

I think as impatient as we maybe for Friday morning to get here i think we should Stay shut and see what happens.... I persoanlly think this weekend the Eagles will be making plenty of Moves than Calm down and work on one or 2 different things and than focus on the Draft in April so i expect them to be busy in the months ahead til about may-june give or take and prepare for training camp and the Pre Season in August....

Seriously People its funny how out of all seasons The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be everyones focus in the Offseason..... And it isnt just from Eagles Fans its from other Nfl Team Fans this is to funny i think the Eagles will Surprise and Keep content the Fans this yr...
