DJ Hackett is A Free Agent by this Friday and to be honest with you guys he seems like an ideal reciever the eagles can use for there Potent offense seriously.... He isnt a problematic WR.... He plays great just check his 07 stats 9 tds. over a thousand yards....... and he is young he is only 26 yrs. old and he can bring leadership to the Eagles Offense in terms of WR......
I hope people can agree with me when it comes to DJ Hackett.... I think he wants a bit more money but i think Eagles can Dish it out but he isnt Money Hungry plus he should easily fit into the Eagles West Coast Offense just because His Former Coach Mike Holmgran taught that to there Offense just like Andy Reid does with his Offense Remember both came from Greenbay so i see a fit there and alot of success if that happens i sure hope so.....

i was looking at hackett and i thought if we could not get stallworth then it would be the best choice because of his familiararity with the system, he is still young and not to mention a smaller pricetag, but i really like andre davis because he has the KR/PR skills.

i think it would be much smarter to get odom instead of go out and trade for peppers it would be cheaper and odom is coming off a good year which you cant say for peppers

Odom is decent. And we do love those Titan DE'S! (KEARSE..JUQUA THOMAS). So why not make a tri-fecta? Wait..weren't those other 2 guys MOSTLY good?? I'd rather gamble on a stud who has proven he is worth the trade.

honestly, i think that JR reed, given the opportunity, would make good kick returns, but because he made one mistake in the first game of the season last year, everybody hates him. Also, remember that he kicked randy moss' ass during the patriots game. Lito and him basically shut him down. With that said, I believe we should go after donte and maybe andre davis. I don't know, I just don't know...

yeah but the guy on the other side of cole doesnt have to be an expensive 30 year old...it could be antwan odom...4th year player had 8 sacks 7 passes deflected and 1 forced fumble last year for the Titans. young and wont cost much...trust me i am not all about saving money...if you can go out and get peppers then do it by all means, but if it is going to cost us getting our go to receiver...sign a cheaper D-end like Odom

You're asking for too much in one year. Get Peppers, Samuels, Stallworth, Andre Davis, Draft a top notch DE/OL (who can predict that) and trade up to get the guy from indiana? This is not fantasy football and lets put together the best players out there. I wish we could do that, but please let's be realistic. If we add 2 players on defense (DE and safety) and Lito and Sheldon can stay healthy), get a good WR like Stallworth with the current skilled players, they would be good enough.

Remember the big buzz about getting Jevon Kearse years ago. Look what "the Freak" accomplished with the eagles... Nothing! Forget Peppers! Draft a D-lineman and get Gibril Wilson, Asaunte Samuel and Donte. Dawkins and Wilson roaming the middle of the back field would be fearsome, not to mention 3 pro bowl caliber cornerbacks in Brown, Sheppard and Samuel. Throw in Donte, who already knows the system and already knows McNabb AND was a fan favorite, and we have a superbowl!

DJ Hackett would be amazing, Andre Davis would be too. But we deperately need some leadership at the WR spot. I keep repeating this because this is what makes all receivers good receivers. If we had leadership at the WR spot then Freddie Mitchell would be as good as T.O. or Chad. We need a veteran guy to help us out, that or a solid receiver coach. I think Nate Washington of the steelers and James Hardy and DJ Hall as a receiver would be all we really need. DJ Hackett would definietely be an upgrade but a.) we already have #2 receivers and b.) we already have #2 receivers. I want a WR who can be a great leader someone like Hines or Joey Galloway, but FAs are just wack this year in Veteran WRs. all we need is a solid WR coach and Avant Lewis Hardy Brown and Hall will improve. Curtis is already at his best.

stallworth was not a fan favorite trust me, because me and my buddies are the most loyal, pasionate, analytical, scrutinizing, die-hard, living room shrine holding bastards and NONE of us liked stallworth, when his bitch ass was on the bench crying about an INJURY THAT HES HAD SINCE HIGH SCHOOL!!!! our boy reggie brown stepped up and become the man of the house

Sure. Buddy Ryan set up an awesome defense. But he blew it when it came to the offense. He wanted Randall to be a "run first" quarterback. He should have let him become the pocket passer that he was with the Vikings. And Carter figured out how to be a leader. Maybe being cut is what it took. But I think he should have been given the chance to do it while he was still HERE.
