Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Lee Evans, are any of these rumors substantiated?

So many rumors, so many false hopes, So why do we listen? I've seen at least 50 rumors, per day, that the eagles are "furiously" pursuing a top notch receiver and dangling Lito Sheppard as bait. Now I would love one of these ideas to come to fruition. Guess what, none of these deals are going to happen. If the Cardinals were willing to part with the most talented young receiver for a injury prone cornerback and a crap shoot #19 overall pick, then sweet. Until it actually happens though, I'll just keep reading all of the stupid rumors who have no source but their own vast imagination. Eagles will contend this year, regardless of whether or not we land a top flight WR. We'll see. GO EAGLES

well in all fairness they could happen, but u do have a point.....rumors without validation are just rumors.....nice blog!

good read am tired of the daily specualtion i dont care until something really happens before i go streaking on broad street

Did anybody else hear Larry on 610 yesterday with Howard Eskin? Larry says the Cards would want to extend his contract to relieve some of their cap room for the next upcoming years because i think his number is somewhere around 16 million? If they don't want to sign him to a top 3 long term deal than they may be forced to move him. He says he would play in Philly, New York (Giants), New England, or pretty much anywhere else he can win. I was actually pretty surprised how much he sounded like he didn't think the deal would be done. I don't think we would see anything until closer to the draft, but it IS real and it COULD happen. Keep your fingers crossed!

Tell me what you guys think i heard him talking on the WIP 610...

This isnt a fake this is true its coming from me to this source from the radio station

i agree with you 100%. i am an Eagles fan and would LOVE to see us get one of these guys, but really its a little unlikely. lets hope and pray that im wrong tho.

i honestly would rather have chad johnson. he is just as talented and if there is any team that needs a pro bowl corner its cincy. but until we find a reciever im fine with curtis and brown. i mean if Mcnabb can go to 4 strait NFC championships with thrash and pinkston, then i think we are fine with who we have, especially with Avant on the verge of breaking out
