I've written a list of guys the Eagles should go after this is year in free agency and the draft.
Free Agents:
HB - Jesse Chatman - If we sign him to a short term deal ( since we got Hunt) and give him about 5 carries a game, Westbrook can get some time to rest. Enough with the Buckhalter shit. He has done nothing for us and Chatman can plain old run over defenders. A big solid back that would benefit us on 3rd down. With Reid's offense 65 pass 45 run. Thats about 35 pass plays and 25 run. Westbrook will get 20 carries, but they will be quality carries, that are not risking his health.
G - Jacob Bell - How good did Tom Brady do with the Giants in his face ? Well, he lost the Super Bowl. So how much do you expect Donovan do to with the D in his face. Jake Bell is a solid, strong lineman that can easily help any offensive line. Give McNabb more time and we're looking at more " McNabb to Brown/Curtis/another player for the touchdown".
LB LeMar Marshall - Vet who could give some experience to McCoy, Gaither and Clemons so we have a solid group in the future. Also can still produce numbers and plug holes.
KR/ PR BJ Sams - What the hell, mine as well sign him. He won't be much and can be the difference in 1 or 2 games. If we had him last year we would've beat the Packers.One of our main problems is field position. We are among the bottom `0 in starting field position. I would've choosen Bryant Johnson but he's too risky.
Draft
WR James Hardy out of Indiana - Standing tall at 6'6 he is a physical receiver that can go up for the touchdown, or catch McNabb's fast balls. Doesn't drop many balls, and is a great run blocker. Would open up more room on the outside for Westbrook. Will make the occasional remarkable catch.
