QB Jayson Foster; "He's the best player in America, better with the ball than Darren McFadden"

The Dolphins have brought in Georgia Southern QB Jayson Foster who may be a receiver/returner. If you have not heard of him you probably aren't alone but with quotes from his agent like the one above he better be more than a practice squad guy. From his agent: "We spoke for 10 minutes and then he called me twice in the seventh round," said agent Joel Turner, "When the clock struck zero after the seventh round he called with an offer. He told me he scouted Jayson [on tape] personally. That shows me how important he is to that organization, when Coach Parcells, who I believe is as good a football mind that's ever been, shows that much interest. Every team in the NFL screwed up not drafting this kid. Miami will find out just how fortunate they are when they get the ball in his hands. He's the best player in America, better with the ball than [fourth-overall pick] Darren McFadden."

Right, Joel, that's why he was undrafted. The other 31 teams saw him and said; "You know he's better with the ball that McFadden but we can't use a guy like that, we want someone who will put the ball on the ground instead, who can't outrun people, can't catch out of the backfield."

huh i had no idea, he was better then mcfadden * insert dripping sarcasm here* but i'm glad he has a home :) !!!!!!!!
BTW cowboy that's FUNNY LOL!!!!

nice job getting his picture, yeah he looks faster than McFadden

Foster is amazing, although I'd be quite hesitant to say he's better than McFadden. I'm sure the reason he went undrafted was because he is only 5'7". He can run unbelievably fast (4.2) and set the record this past season for number of rushing yards by a QB. After watching him play these past few years at GSU, I'd be willing to bet that he'll be one hell of a kick/punt returner regardless of his size. I mean Bill Parcells personally called him after the draft for crying out loud. I'd trust Parcells judgment over some sports author any day.
By the way, Foster is one of the most humble football players I've seen. I can't recall ever seeing him truly gloat or talk big after completing any of his touchdowns. At the very least, it's nice to see someone who truly enjoys the game and is ready to prove his worth get such an opportunity

He's a Parcells kind of guy if everything said about him above is true. Got to give guys like this a chance. Could be a star and , like was said, if Parcells is calling you, there's something there.

I saw him play two games this year in person. Wofford and Appalachian State. This guy is unbelievable. He will really turn some heads in Miami. In GSU's final game against Colorado State, he rushed for 187 yards with them keying on his every move. They could not stop him. Parcells got a diamond in the rough.
