Back by popular demand, and because we love to play in the blog world, I bring you the second installment of "The Lucky 13." But first, some new from the Colts front. Well, as much as we can give you.
TE Tom Santi and DE Rudolph Hardie will be hurt through final cuts, so I'm not sure what that means for either. Santi had his left ankle in a boot for today's light workout. LB Clint Session had on a left boot. Don't know if that's serious or precaution. We'll find out on Tuesday, but he wasn't going to play this week anyway.
S Matt Giordano and DE Raheem Brock were back at practice. S Bob Sanders and K Adam Vinatieri were there, too, although neither has been activated from PUP. But both seemed in good spirits.
Somebody asked about LB Mike Tauiliili. Not sure of this, but I would concur with a blogger that he's got a shot to make this team. Don't know if that means Jordan Senn or Freddy Keiaho or Tyjuan Hagler doesn't, but I think the g...

Three cups deep: fundamentally strong
Mitch Albom of the Detroit Free Press, in reaction to a notable Lions victory (I believe it was this one), once said: “Hang on, folks. We have ourselves a football team.” As it turns out, we didn’t—the Packers went on to bounce the Lions from the playoffs in the first round. I’m tempted to use the same line today--though not to describe a perennial also-ran who gutted...

NFL and Media Should Spolight the Good, Ignore the Bad
One of the first things I experienced when I started teaching a dozen years ago was how to handle behavior in the classroom. College prepared me for teaching my core subjects, but dealing with behavioral issues was a baptism by fire.
Did I want to spend all my time dealing with the five percent of the class that had behavior issues, virtually ignoring the 95 percent of the class...
