Shaun Alexander And The Bengals Are Currently In The Process Of Kidding One Another

Formerly good football player Shaun Alexander is visiting the Bengals and from the article I just read, both sides seem to be guilty of a little smokescreening and posturing, so I figured I'd do my part to help out both sides. For example:

Quote: "Shaun wants to get an idea how the Bengals would use him and I'm sure the Bengals would like to talk to him"

Translation: "Shaun wants to make sure he doesn't have to do to much blocking or pass catching. He'd prefer to just be handed the ball at the two yard line and score touchdowns. He's really good at gaining one or two yards. And the Bengals running game was so God awful last year, I'm sure Shaun can at least get a warm meal and a proverbial reach around from them. Plus he's never been arrested."

Shaun is washed up. As a Ravens fan, I hope the Bungles sign him.

Yeah, I'm sure Jamal Lewis was washed up too.

It's funny how being incarcerated for four months and having nothing to do but lift weights really turn a career around. And Cleveland's O-line is pretty massive.

Billick didn't use Jamal properly. But Jamal always ran hard.

I wouldn't say he he is washed up he had one good season, but who was blocking for him that year. On the left sid ehe had Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones most of his yardage and touchdowns were runs to the left. It is fundamental that a good offense stems from a good line. Those two could have made any one look good they played awesome together. When the Seahawks had to choose which one they wanted they made the wrong choice. RB's are a dime a dozen right now in the NFL all will moderatly good talent then there are probably about three or four which are really good. With a great O Line you can make any decent running back look amazing. When are teams going to catch on.

he's probably going to retire~so fear not folks!!!

He should retire. he has nothing to give to an organization now. Even in his MVP season he had an incredible offensive line. Hell even i could have scored a couple TD's behind that line. As a Hawk fan, I thank him for the contributions to the organization, but he overstayed his welcome by a good 2-3 years. I hope he does retire.

"The Process Of Kidding One Another" That's a clever way to put it. I'd still like to see if he has anything left in the tank.

As a New England fan, I hope he comes to New England and resurges just like Corey Dillon did. He has plenty left and has had more than 1 good year. Check the stats. He would have had a ring as well, if the officials didn't give the game to the Steelers. I have been disappointed in lack of production, don't get me wrong, but Julius Jones and TJ Duckett are not the answer. He should have restructured and stayed in Seattle. Only he can prove everyone wrong, and I hope he does. And I dont think Funmert could have scored behind that line, not that easy. And would you say that Adrian Peterson's success is all do to Hutch??? No way. It takes blocking and a talented back which Alexander has been up until these last 2 injured seasons.
