Mets roster moves
The New York Mets made a couple roster moves today, the surprising one is the placing of 2B Ruben Gotay on waivers. Gotay just recently rejoined the lineup after suffering a sprained ankle during camp. Unfortunately for him, Fernando Tatis has the front offices support for the final role on the bench. This morning it actually looked like the Mets may place Gotay on the disabled list just to keep him on the roster.
