Last year it was Vince Young who made news with his score of 6, this year it's Auburn's David Irons who scored a 4, which coincidently, is his jersey number. I thought after last year's fiasco the scores were to be kept private but I guess not. Here is a sample test: http://www.angelfire.com/fl3/existence/wonderlic.html

Don't you get a 5 just for singing your name correctly?

Is it just me or are Auburn players consistently making headlines with their wonderlic scores? I think David Irons should make a guest appearance on Jeff Foxworthy's new show, "Are you Smarter than a 5th grader?"

That's too bad. I watched Auburn alot this year and David Irons can really play. A couple of years ago Auburn had a guy named Junior Roseboro who was a terrific player but scored something like a 2 on his Wunderlic. He went undrafted, hopefully Irons brother doesn't see the same fate.

He and his brother can both play, if he's good enough he'll be in the NFL, hell pacman scored in the single digits and look at him now. Whoops bad example.

The Wonderlic is useless. Guys like Frank Gore or Julian Peterson or Vince Young get embarrassed by the low scores and then go out and become game changing players. Since when did answering the question "Paper sells for 21 cents a pad. What will four pads cost?" ever help a guy make a tackle or recover a fumble or sack a quarterback? I'm sure Irons will end up having a great career.
