Trent Dilfer will start for 49ers, Alex Smith benched with injury

It's been no secret that the 49ers' offense sucks and a big part of that is the play of former #1 pick Alex Smith. This guy is in his 3rd year and still is one of the worst QB's in the league. He has 2 TD's and 4 INT's this year, while his career numbers are 19 TD's and 31 INT's with a 63.5 QB rating. It's so frustrating that our #1 pick was horrible and that now we're probably going to have to find a new franchise QB, because Dilfer certainly isn't the answer.
