Which collapse was more shocking, more damaging, more painful? Which team choked harder? I am still inclined to think that the '04 Yankees losing the 3-0 lead was larger and more painful than this Patriots loss. Then again, I am a Giants fan and a Red Sox fan (I know...blame it on being raised in CT), so I won both of em!

  • Yankees all the way. To be fair the Patriots had some really close games that could have gone either way during the season. They were amazing but winning every single game is such a damn hard proposition where there are so many factors in play.

Then again, im a Buffalo Bills Fan and a Red Sox fans =P Where in CT? I lived in wonderful Bristol for a year.

Super Bowl hysteria and Hot Hoops

A common Super Bowl refrain is that the pre-game hype is Snooze Central. Not true. We're here to let you know that Super Bowl week is incredible. Worst-case scenario is that the sheer number and quality of the parties serves as a great excuse to avoid the banality of mainstream media for a week. Best-case scenario is -- well, I'll leave that to your imagination. Schadenfreude...

Super Bowl Recap

The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII. Although I didn't have the score right, I picked the Giants to win 23-20 in possibly the biggest upset in Super Bowl history.

Tara Reid: Not a Tom Brady Fan

Brady's ex is only a touch bitter . . .

Party at Mercury Morris' house!

Giants 17, Patriots 14 - not a misprint, but the score of Super Bowl XLII. You can exhale now, Don Shula and Mercury Morris. As for Nick Buoniconti, well, I imagine the former Patriot and member of the '72 Dolphins might have some mixed feelings. And Amazon.com, you've got a lot of refunds to hand out! Well, unless they decide to make it '18-1: The Story of the...

Brady and Moss: Sore Losers?

I was checking out NFL.com on Monday and I saw that New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and WR Randy Moss would be skipping the Pro Bowl. For what reason? Brady looked fine to me, dispite being smothered by Giants defenders all night long. NFL.com said Moss is missing out on the Pro Bowl for undisclosed reasons. Could it be these two are suffering from damaged egos? Could it be that...

Fox Should Work on That Tape Delay Thing/Pats Fans Immediately Bitter

Pats' fan flipping the bird to the general public; Fox's tape delay is not spectacular.

Super Letdown

It is what it is... and it's been a few days. But to Patriots fans, it's still a huge shocker and disappointment. How could they? How could they lose? Perfection was right around the corner. And now is seems all Pat's fans can do is mope and think about the "What ifs." What if there weren't so many false starts? What if the offesnsive line protected Brady...

Sweet Justice

Karma. Poetic justice. Whichever descriptive cliche you want to use, it applies. When Bill Belichick was sprinting off the field as the loser of Super Bowl XLII, it just felt ... right.

Note to self: Stop watching ESPN pregame in HD

Not that far into ESPN's awe-inspiring Super Bowl pregame show today we were greeted with Ron Jaworski, and it all but confirmed that pregame can simply no longer be watched in HD -- ever. This of course only applies to those who actually still watch pregame shows, particularly those special fives hour ones.

No, Eli Won't Back Down....

In regards to a post a couple of weeks ago, featuring the Young Manning, and the pic below, asking: "Is this the face of a Super Bowl winning QB?" The answer has revealed itself. Look out Disneyland and Snow White and any other beeotch that Eli wants. In fact, if we know Eli (by this picture), even Mickey might want to watch his ass.
