Why do so many YardBarkers CHEAT on their Ratings? Who do you THINK you are fooling?

Let's be real: People are cheating their "Bark Rating" to make their articles seem more popular than they are. You know who I'm talking about - it's the idiots that post, and within a minute or so, have 6 Barks to their name. It happens in NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and heck - even in MMA. Just look around- within minutes of examining the latest "recent posts" you'll see losers trying to make themselves seem more popular than they are. I've called a few on it, (but for now, I won't OUT THEM here...FOR NOW) and I will call a few more on it as I see it happen, but let's be real: Do they think we are idiots? Just the basic odds say the chances of ANYONE getting 6 barks less than 60 seconds after posting are tiny - no matter how many subscribers they have. Getting 6 barks in 5 minutes is tough and only the most popular even accomplish this. However, if your average Bark total is 9 or less, and EVERY TIME you post you snag 6-7 barks in less than 300 seconds, (and then barely nothing...), you are cheating the system. And people like me are on to you. Yardbarker is a place that is supposed to REWARD GOOD WRITING - not quick navigation between 5 email accounts to make your lame articles seem like they are bark-worthy. And sadly, the lamest writers are the ones who are doing it the most. The good writers don't NEED TO CHEAT - their writing propagates itself, as it should. So let this serve as a warning AND a call to arms. For the strong writers out there - stay vigilant! If you catch one of these losers inflating their Barks - leave them a comment letting them know you caught them in the act. This will alert other readers to avoid the liars and cheaters and should eliminate these leeches fairly quickly. As for those doing it - BEWARE. We are legion. We WILL expose you. Play fair, we will support you. But try to screw over the Yardbarker Community by tricking the system? You WILL BE exposed. You have been warned.
