If everything falls the way most draftkicks think..then the Eagles would probably go:
1. would be a lineman
2.I figure they add depth to WR/PR/KR posistion ...If they don't bring someone in ..
I looked at Lavelle Hawkins Cal WR.,At least 1 mock I know has him going to the Eagles.
2007: An All-Pac-10 Second Team selection ... rated as the No. 1 senior receiver in the country by ESPN's Mel Kiper, Jr....also served as Cal's primary kick returner averaging 22.0 yards per return.
Jordan steps-up ...we are OK going in with our LB's

Remember Shawn Andrews is probably the best Guard in the NFL, he was a tackle in college, he could certainly be a future tackle and they could draft a Guard in rounds 3-5.

If we trade Lito to anyone else it will be a CB (best available). I personally like Brandon Flowers and Dominique Rodgers Cromartie at #19
If we keep Lito:
We will look hard at DE (Harvey or Campbell) but probably end up taking OL. Jeff Otah and Chris Williams are the "safe picks" but ...
BRANDON ALBERT will be our #1 pick if he is available. We don't have a pressing need at OL at this moment, so this gives him time to learn the system (and possibly kicking out to LT).
I'd be SHOCKED if we took a WR in the 1st round. But the WR that best fits our system is Limas Sweed (reminds me of Roy Williams) or possibly gamble that James Hardy will be the next "Plaxico Burress".

here is the part of the WR draft we are interested in:
Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed, James Hardy, NFL Draft
A lot of fans have their doubts about drafting a wide receiver, but this is a solid last resort and actually could be their best move. They wouldn't be forced to trade Lito Sheppard or any picks to end up with one of these players, and all three guys are 6'4" or taller with the tools to score the rock. Hardy in particular racked up 36 TDs during 34 games at Indiana, while Kelly and Sweed are regarded by most as the top prospects at the position. The draft can be a crapshoot, but one of these guys might be the next Randy Moss.

I dont understand alot of pplz love affair with Tony Hunt... but if you look at the situation, Buckhalter is on his last year of his contract, Moats is also, and he is always injured, Tony Hunt may be a good breaker but will never start for us, its jus not gunna happen, and Westbrook is not only getting older, but he is extreamly overused... unless we use this pick to pickup a Stud wide reciver in a trade, i think we should get ourselves an insurance policy, cuz we all know if b. west goes down, thats basically our season in a nutshell.... Jonathan Stewart is going to be a stud running back for some team.... and alot of draft have him lasting to just b4 our pick.. i say if he is there get him... not only is he going to be our insurance on a positive season but also, he is westbrooks opposite in attributes.....
i then, like i said if this pick dosent get traded,... trade up in the second round to grab Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College..... the guy is a beastly size, and is the type of player who could do well sitting behind to Probowl guys named Jon Runyan and William Thomas, and provide us with the future the Eagles Organization seems to be focused on.... Go Birds!!!!!
