A Kinder Gentler take on Al Davis or "Give the Man his Due!"

In light of the glee with which negative articles are written about Al Davis- ranging from accusations of megalomania to insanity; here is an article that seems to attempt a fair look at aspects of the big guy without ignoring legitimate difficulties so evident since the last super bowl appearances. Yes people, I'm a fan and ticked at how comfortable everyone is in kicking the Raiders during their years of rebuilding. As if it didn't happen to Dallas, Pittsburgh, New England, Green Bay, and San Francisco. Some franchises have not ever been to the bowl- the Raiders have numerous times and will make it back! Great Franchises usually rise again.
