The Rap Sheet:
Today is Super Bowl XLVI, and we have our game face on. But before we get back into game coverage, let’s take a quick break and go off the field. Over the past two days, we attended parties hosted by ESPN, Maxim, and Leather and Laces.
How were they?
No doubt, the Maxim Party was the best. The theme was comic books, and servers were dressed as super heros. That was a nice touch, and the Patron and Coke Zero they were serving were well consumed at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Bringing in attractive women and filling the room with them gave it a sweet atmosphere. Celebrities were in full force out, from the guy who played Puddy on Seinfeld to Warrick Dunn and Tony Siragusa.
But clearly, the highlight was the surprise appearance by Ludacris. He owned the stage, playing for about an hour and bringing back classics like Area Codes and What’s Your Fantasy? He played much longer than he was supposed to, and lit the place up. It was tremendous.
