One of the big stories coming out of Sunday’s games, in addition to Jay Cutler’s injury, was the injury to Adrian Peterson that forced the league’s best running back to miss most of Minnesota’s loss to Oakland (which surely induced many more crocodile tears). Fortunately, it sounds like Peterson avoided any serious damage to one of the appendages that helps him run all day. According to Jeremy Fowler of The Pioneer Press (via PFT) Peterson suffered a Grade 1 high ankle sprain.
