Adrian Wilson Keeps Rather Quiet on New NFL Punishments and Past Basketball History

While some NFL players have come out with wide-ranging and often harsh criticism or have ”thought about retiring” when it comes to the NFL’s new policies and punishments regarding illegal hits, Adrian Wilson apparently isn’t ready to take the bait. The Arizona Cardinals star defensive back seems to simply be taking the rule for what it’s worth in hopes that he doesn’t put himself on the radar when it comes to incurring fines or suspensions. He’ll still get them if he leads with his helmet, but no reason to put himself in the limelight if he doesn’t need to. Or maybe he just wasn’t in a talkative mood during the the following interview. He didn’t really want to discuss his past history with the game of basketball, either. Or, as a third option, he likes to say he doesn’t want to discuss things, but then actually does.
